Exciting things are happening at Revere Way! Currently in its third and final phase of development, Revere Way will include 90 fine-quality homes built on vacant lots throughout the Paul Revere Elementary School neighborhood. Sixty of the 90 homes have already been built and purchased, and the remaining 30 houses under construction now.
All homes are single-family residences located on individual landscaped lots, with large front porches, 3-4 bedrooms, 2-2 1/2 baths and central air-conditioning. Each house is between 1,600 and 1,800 square feet and has a full kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, as well as a 2-car detached garage, and a full unfinished basement. Buyers can select from a number of options including: painting, flooring and lighting upgrades, garage and deck expansion, and basement finish choices that increase total living space by 800-1000 square feet.
The third phase of development features two new single-family home styles to choose from. The third phase of development features two new single-family home styles to choose from. The Revere Way houses also take into consideration the importance of environmentally friendly construction. Much of the construction materials and all of the appliances are Energy-Star compliant.
We love that our house is brand new and has a lot of space! It has a big kitchen, basement and backyard, and it's just right for our family.
Revere Way is made possible by the Revere Community Housing Development (RCHD), a neighborhood redevelopment sponsored by the Comer Science and Education Foundation (CSEF). CSEF is a non-profit, Chicago philanthropic organization committed to helping raise the educational opportunities of Paul Revere Elementary School children and to improve and stabilize the neighborhood surrounding the school.
Because of its non-profit affiliation, RCHD is able to offer very good pricing for home buyers. As a developer, RCHD does not make any profit on the sale of each home in Revere Way. As a result, the savings are passed on to you, the home buyer. In just two short years since the first phase of construction began, Revere Way home values have increased by at least 10 percent, and regular appraisals of the homes show that trend continuing.
Mr. Lee Reid, Architect and President of Revere Propertiesa multi-faceted real estate development company, is managing the development, construction and sales of the Revere Way housing in addition to other new projects in the community. Lee has over 25 years of experience developing similar projects throughout the Metropolitan Chicago area. He can be reached at (773)324-1745 or by email.
I purchased my Revere Way home at a great price, and I have had a good experience. Everyone has been really great to work with. This house is a true investment in my future.
